Saadane: “We believe in victory… We are not afraid from Ivory Coastâ€
Coach Rabah Saadane said he wants players who are hundred percent ready to face Ivory Coast today, in reference to his fears of involving the goalkeeper Faouzi Chaouchi who confirmed his desire to play despite his injury.

Saadane explains that the Desert Foxes will face a team that has excellent players who play in the strongest European clubs, as victory needs players who are ready in all aspects, particularly physically, thing which means that the absence of Chaouchi is almost certain; “Such a match requires players who are physically prepared because the game will be aggressive and we can’s risk with any player”.

A source from Algeria’s team said that Faouzi Chaouchi expressed his desire to participate in today’s match despite he is not completely recovered.

Immediately after the team’s arrival to Cabinda, doctors said that Chaouchi’s participation in this match do not exceed fifty percent.

According to the same source, the team’s doctor was alarmed by Saadane’s decision to involve Chaouchi in the match against Ivory Coast because it is a risk, as his injury may worsen.

Saadane said that today’s match will be difficult for both teams since it will include two large teams that are qualified to the World Cup South Africa, noting that although some people think that Ivory Coast chances are better than Algeria’s, however the match will be different; “ Ivory Coast team is strong and the match will be difficult for both teams”.
